1. What PortugalTest is

PortugalTest (portugaltest.com, "the service") is an independent online trainer with practice papers in the format of the CIPLE (A2) Portuguese exam. It is operated by PortugalTest (sole trader, Portugal) ("we"). Contact: romanevich@gmail.com.

2. Independence

The service is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed, recognised or certified by CAPLE, the Faculdade de Letras of the Universidade de Lisboa, AIMA, IRN or any Portuguese public body. "CIPLE" and "CAPLE" are used only to identify the exam the service helps you prepare for. Registration for the exam, its dates, fees, rules and results are handled exclusively by CAPLE (caple.letras.ulisboa.pt).

3. No guarantee of results

The practice papers, explanations and estimated scores are study material. An estimated score is produced for a simulation and is not an official result; it does not predict the grade you will obtain in the real exam. Information about residence and nationality procedures on the site is general information, not legal advice.

4. Content and licence

All texts, questions, options, model answers and recordings are original and belong to us. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own preparation. You may not copy, publish, sell, share or redistribute the papers or any part of them, or use them to build another product.

5. Free and paid content

Two practice papers are free. Full access is a one-time purchase that unlocks the other papers, including papers added later, on up to ten of your own devices, for as long as the service exists. Full access is delivered as an access code; it is personal and may not be published or shared with people outside your household. Codes that appear in public or are used far beyond the device limit may be deactivated.

6. Price and payment

The price shown at the time of purchase is final. Until an online payment provider is connected, orders are handled by e-mail and paid by bank transfer or another method we agree on; the code is sent by e-mail once the payment arrives, normally within one working day.

7. Withdrawal and refunds

See the refund policy: a full refund within 14 days if the code has not been activated; once you activate the code you ask for immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that the withdrawal right ends. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Portuguese and EU law.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve, add or replace papers and features. If we ever discontinue the service, holders of full access will be told in advance and will be able to keep using the papers already stored on their devices.

9. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid for full access. We are not liable for the outcome of any exam, residence or nationality procedure.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Portugal; consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or a Portuguese consumer arbitration centre.
